ROWING

In 2022, Melbourne Girls Grammar’s First VIII 'The Merton'  made history at the famous Henley Royal Regatta, becoming the first sports team to represent MGGS on the world stage in the School’s 130-year history. This year, The Merton won the 2023 Australian Rowing Championships and were invited to compete at Henley Royal Regatta for a second time. In addition to this, 'The Grant' (Year 10 A crew) also became National Champions in their age group. This was all thanks to our dedicated sporting community whose generosity helped the team to recognise their full potential through hard and rigorous teamwork.
