Introduction

The need to belong is something we all have in common. At Melbourne Girls Grammar, we believe one’s sense of belonging emerges from the connections we make, and that’s why we value our inclusive and supportive community so much.

Melbourne Girls Grammar's community embodies the adage, "it takes a village to raise a child". Every member of our village is unique in what they bring but contributes to the strength of the School and its community. Our community recognises and celebrates our values of compassion, integrity, self-discipline and courage, living these in our 'hubs' of activity. Our relationships are productive, effective and sustainable, allowing our community to build strong connections and feel a sense of belonging.

In this edition of IE (Information Exchange), we unpack and highlight the various parts of our wonderful community at MGGS and how everyone has a part to play in our ‘village’.

We hope you enjoy hearing from some of the many voices from the vibrant and thriving community that makes Melbourne Girls Grammar a unique place.
