Welcome

Introduction

At Melbourne Girls Grammar, we aim for learning to spark curiosity, inspire action and encourage students to engage deeply with the world around them.  From ELC through to Year 12, our Grammarians are encouraged to immerse themselves fully in the opportunities before them, engaging with their studies, their peers, and the broader community with curiosity  and purpose. This edition of Information Exchange (IE) celebrates the many ways our students are enriched by the breadth of opportunities available to them and the enthusiasm with which they engage in every aspect of School life. Whether in the classroom, as part of co-curricular activities, through service initiatives or alongside community partners, our students are active participants in their own learning journeys, embracing challenges that broaden perspectives and cultivate confidence.

At every level of the School, we are committed to creating experiences that scaffold our students’ learning, helping them to discover new passions, deepen existing interests and apply their learning with purpose. With guidance and support, students are encouraged to extend their thinking throughout their educational journey, fostering creativity and a natural progression of skills.

Reading through this issue, you will see our School values brought to life in tangible and inspiring ways. You will discover how MGGS develops engaged learners who will become thoughtful leaders and compassionate contributors; young women who are making the most of every opportunity and, in doing so, enriching both their own lives and the communities of which they are a part.
